Rohr confident of Eagles qualification to knockout phase

Nigeria Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr is full of confidence that his team will qualify  to the knockout phase of the 2019 African Cup of Nations as they face the Syli Stars of Guinea today (Wednesday) at the Alexandria Stadium in Egypt.

Rohr in a presser on Tuesday (Yesterday) spoke about the last match stating that his charges will be through should they beat the Guineans today.
“It was a very important match because when you see the result, yes we have the three points and If we win this game we are already through, Rohr said.
“It will be a decisive game for us, more for us than them, because even if they lose they still have the chance to qualify and even be the best third from this group.”
The Nigerian team who are leading Group B with three points after claiming a deserved 1-0 triumph over Burundi courtesy of the a lovely  finish from Odion Ighalo in the opening match are three points away from making it to the last 16 stages.
