NPFL 19: Nasarawa United humble Pateau United

Nasarawa United played out a comfortable 2-1 win over visitors Plateau United in Lafia.

The boys from Jos never got going in the encounter, with the 2-1 scoreline flattering their efforts on the day. S. Ibrahim set the ball rolling for the home team's victory when he found the back of the net in the 8th minute of the game. Johnson sealed the victory for Nasarawa united with a spectacular goal on the 54th minute.

Plateau United grabbed a consolation at the dead through J. Akila but it was too little too late to stage a comeback. This victory sees Nasarawa United raise their points haul so far to 9 points.
