NPFL 19: Wikki beat Enyimba in comeback win (2)

Wikki Tourists of Bauchi staged and epic fight back to beat Enyimba International of Aba by two goals to one despite going behind early on in the game.

Enyimba went ahead early in the game when Abdulrahman put the ball in the back of the net to give the visitors a deserved early lead and silence the home fans. Wikki fought back, raising the tempo and eventually pulling themselves back on level terms through Abba Umar in the 28th minute.

The comeback was complete in the 47th minute as Abba Umar got his second of the game and his team's second goal to condemn the peoples elephant to another defeat on the road. The win takes Wikki Tourists up to nine points from a possible 18 points. Enyimba gaffer Abd'Allah's headache is heightened by this loss as he will look to get his team properly motivated to reclaim their place at the zenith of Nigerian football.
