Ola Aina’s first Serie A goal hand Torino maximum points against Troost-Ekong’s Udinese

Nigerian international Ola Aina scored his first goal in Italy for Torino in their one-nil win over Udinese in the Italian Serie A on Sunday.


The Super Eagles defender cooly headed in a cross from Cristian Ansaldi in the 31st minute of the encounter to hand Torino all three points and move the team to 8th on the log after 23 games with 8 wins, 10 draws and five losses.


Reacting to the goal, Aina took to his Instagram handle to celebrate his first goal in Italy since joining on loan from London giants Chelsea in the summer. He wrote; “1st Goal 3 Points! Team effort to secure the win. Good linking up with the bro @WTroostEkong


Aina’s Super Eagles teammate Williams Troost-Ekong was cautioned in the encounter by referee Marco Guida in the 86th minute.
