EPL: Ndidi and Leicester draw at the London Stadium (2)

Wilfred Ndidi and his Leicester City side were guest at the London Stadium where they took on hosts West Ham as they continue their fight for a place in Europe.

The home side who found themselves five points off the European places came into the game determined to get all three points against the team that occupied the last European slot. West ham committed a lot and attack and were rewarded in the 37th minute when M. Antonio put them a goal ahead. Leicester City finally got their goal in the second period through Jamie Vardy in the 67th minute after coming close on several occasions in the first half. Substitute Perez put the home side in front again the 82nd minute and thoug he had sealed all three points for the London club before H. Barnes broke their hearts in the 90th minute, scoring to restore parity and ensure both sides share a point a piece. Wilfred Ndidi was on for all of 90 minutes and played the midfield destroyer role. Bit part player Kelechi Iheanacho came on in the 84th minute for D. Gray but could not get on the score sheet. Leicester City are in 8th position on the log, a point behind Watofrd who won away at Huddersfield.
